Child's Artwork

This is the first artwork my daughter did at child care. She was about eight months old. This art means more to me as a mother than any other artwork could. However, as a teacher, I am pleased with all of the colors chosen, the fact that my child used her fingers, as well as a ball dipped in paint as her painting utensils, and even though most of the paint is in the bottom right of the paper, I can see that she began using bigger strokes. I see creativity, use of fine motor skills, a sensory activity, and freedom of choice which makes me happy as a mother and a teacher.
