Favorite Children's Book
My favorite children's book is Big Red Barn. My daughter requests it every night (she is 21 months). The book is written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Felicia Bond. My daughter and I both enjoy the rhyming aspect of the story, not to mention the animal sounds, the different types of animals, differences and similarities in animals, colors, and the camaraderie that can be experienced among creatures who are so different. The book winds down as you near the ending and it helps my daughter to wind down as well.

I have three sons who also all loved this book. They loved naming all the sounds the animals are supposed to make! I love reading to them at night. It is my favorite time of the day!
